FRONT DESK SALES RECEPTION POSITION AVAILABLE

Job Title:  Front Desk Sales Reception
Location:  June Lawrence School of Dance Inc
Job Type:  Part-Time Employee 8-10 hours per week, weekend & week night
Years of Experience: 1-3 preferably in a retail or corporate setting
Position Reports to:  Director
Front Desk Job Description:  The Front Desk Sales Receptionist greets and manages customer visits and inquiries, as well as assisting with administrative tasks as requested by the Director.

Duties And Responsibilities:
1.  Greet customers, students and visitors in a warm and courteous manner.  Manage inquiries, registration, trial classes and dance wear sales.
2.  Answers incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner, and able to impart accurate information regarding classes, registration, programs and school philosophy.
3.  Make outgoing calls to inform clients past and present of upcoming events, registration or school business (as requested by Director). Ability to notate information retrieved.
4.  Perform date entry of new clients and update existing ones in CRM.
5.  Prepare special event flyers and newsletters for both social media and handouts, including power point presentation.
6.  Maintain all forms and information handout needs for studio events: e.g. upcoming events, next session registrations
7.  Maintain, clean and organize the reception area and studios as needed.
8.  Monitor student arrival and dismissal.
9.  Receive and restock dance wear.
10.  Process daily sales and log daily activity.
11.  Keep Director updated with daily activities.

  1. Works to maintain and safe and friendly environment while upholding the studio culture.Position Requirements
    1.  Graduated from High School, with some post-Secondary.
    2.  Excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills.
    3.  Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize work flow according to immediate demands in busy environment.
    4.  Excellent skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

GROWING MISSISSAUGA DANCE STUDIO PRE SCHOOL & TOT FACULTY JUNIOR/INTERMEDIATE/SENIOR FACULTY POSITIONS AVAILABLE

JOB TITLE: TEACHING FACULTY 2017-2018 DANCE SEASON

Location: June Lawrence School of Dance Inc

Job Type: Part-Time Employee 3-6 hours per week, weekend & week night

Years of Experience: 1-3 ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical & contemporary

Position Reports to: Director

Job Description: Teaching Faculty plans, prepares and executes well structured age and skill appropriate dance class. Prepares students for examination, yearend recital and other community performances as required. They communicate information to parents and students when requested by the Director. They attend all staff meetings and school events and work well with other faculty.

Duties And Responsibilities:

1.   Prepare well structured dance class according to age and ability.

2.   Able to execute class plan in a manner that is motivating, professional and knowledgeable.

3.   Able to assess students’ abilities and adjust lesson accordingly.

4.   Keep accurate class notes and follow school protocol.

5.   Prepare classes for yearend recital and other community performances.

6.   Able to communicate with parents as request by Director

7.   Maintain a clean and organized studio work area.

8.   Monitor student arrival and dismissal.

9.   Be supportive, inclusive and respectful of other Faculty.

10. Keep Director updated with daily activities.

11.  Works to maintain a safe and friendly environment while upholding the studio culture.

Position Requirements

1. Graduated from High School, with some post-Secondary.

2. Excellent technique and understanding of posture, placement, alignment and progressive learning.

3. Additional education in the dance field – Teaching courses, seminars, workshops.

4. Dance Masters of Canada, Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association or equivalent is a bonus.
