Are you just starting out as a dance teacher? Are you a veteran? No matter, June’s workshop / teacher training will inspire, educate and move your teaching skills in the right direction.
A graduate of York University’s Fine Arts Dance Program, June’s love of teaching lead to the opening of her own dance studio business in 1985.Working with children and adults is her passion and over the fourty four years of teaching June has discovered and developed tried and true approaches to building strong, confident and talented dancers.
The need for continuing education is important to June and she has accomplished that by studying and completing both the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association (CDTA) and Dance Master of America Teacher Training(DMA) in Jazz, Tap and Ballet.
In her role as Dance Examiner with CDTA June has the opportunity to see the growth and patterns of dance education. In addition she attends workshops and seminars each year to enhance her professional development.
June embraces her role as business owner, studio director, teacher, examiner, wife, mother and friend with enthusiasm and passion.
