“June Lawrence School of Dance is an amazing school with teachers that are professional and dedicated. They help the children to grow to their fullest potential‎ by encouraging them every step of the way. It is also a very friendly and fun environment from the minute you step through the doors, from the reception desk ‎, right through to the teachers. Last but not least, their professional and friendly school makes their reasonable fees worth every penny!! My daughters love attending this school and I will be enrolling them again next year! ” C. “I feel that my daughter has developed into the person she is today in huge part due to her many years at June Lawrence School of Dance. She learned many important lessons in her 12 years at the school. First off she learned how to respect authority and realized early on the importance of listening and following instruction so as not to fall behind. She has good discipline in that regard.
She has become very organized and responsible, as she has had to balance a busy schedule between school, dance and her social life, keeping her priorities in the right order. As a result, she still kept good grades, performed well in her dances, and did not feel like she was missing out on anything socially. She also understands how important it is to stick to commitments made. When you join a team, you must fulfill your duties or you let the team down. She understands this very well. She has learned how to set goals and achieve them. My daughter has also matured socially. She deals well with others, and has learned that it is important to get along for the sake of the group. She meets new people easily, and feels confident in herself. I’m sure performing in front of judges and large audiences has helped with this. To summarize, I am very thankful that we found June Lawrence School of Dance, as my daughter has matured into a confident young adult.” Sincerely, Kathy

My daughter Emilia started at JLSD when she was only 2 ½ years old as a Creative A student and has grown into a little ballerina.

Emilia was and still is this ball of energy but when she puts on her dance outfit or costume it is like a magic spell has been casted over her. She stands proper, she listens, allows me to comb her hair, is very focussed and represents the studio well when we are at competitions. I attribute this to the teachers and student instructor as they are very patience and encourage all of the students to do the best they can.

Emilia is learning tap, ballet and jazz, but more importantly she is learning team spirit, how to work within a large and small group, how to be more responsible/accountable for herself and others. These are skills that she will be able to take forward with her and apply them to all aspects of her professional and personal life.

Thanks June Lawrence School of Dance!!!

Sincerely,

Barbra
