Short-Term

Adult Beginner Ballet
Level 1
Offered in 10-week sessions, this program is perfect for adults (ages 18+) who have 2 years or less of ballet training.
In this class, dancers will learn the basics of body placement, alignment and posture, ballet positions, turnout, and various ballet movements. Dancers at this level should be able to appreciate, understand, and apply critiques/adjustments given by the teacher.

Adult Beginner Ballet
Level 2
Offered in 10-week sessions, this program is perfect for adults (ages 18+) who have at least 3 years of ballet training.
In this class, dancers will learn the basics of body placement, alignment and posture, ballet positions, turnout, and various ballet movements. Dancers at this level should be able to appreciate, understand, and apply critiques/adjustments given by the teacher.

Adult Theatre Jazz
Offered in 10-week sessions, this fun and upbeat dance class combines jazz technique with the style and flair of Broadway musicals. You’ll learn choreography, build confidence, and have a great time performing—all in a relaxed, supportive setting.
No experience needed, just come ready to move and have fun!
Age: 18+

Adult Beginner Pre-Class Tap
Offered in 10-week sessions, this program is perfect for adults (ages 18+) who are brand new to the style of Tap!
This class starts at the very beginning, and teaches dancers the part of the tap shoe and how sounds are made. In addition, dancers will practice shifting their weight and balancing, will learn single sounds, and will be introduced to double sounds.
This half-hour class prepares dancers for our Beginner Adult Tap class.
Age: 18+

Adult Beginner Tap
Offered in 10-week sessions, this program is perfect for adults (ages 18+) who have less than 3 years of tap experience.
In this class, dancers will begin combining single and double sounds into more complex rhythms and will be introduced to new standard style steps and combinations (i.e., maxi ford, Irish, buffalo).
Dancers at this level should be able to clap and count multiple rhythms, have basic knowledge of Tap terminology, and have a strong understanding and execution of all basic single and double sounds.

Adult Experienced Tap
Offered in 10-week sessions, this program is perfect for adults (ages 18+) who have 3 or more years of tap experience.
Building on the concepts learned in Beginner Adult Tap, dancers will learn new steps and harder variations of steps learned in previous levels, and will be introduced to new double and triple sound rhythms.
Dancers at this level are expected to be able to count steps with and without music, have a greater understanding of musicality, have the ability to put arms and footwork together, and have the ability to pick up and retain choreography.
Age: 18+
Full Season

Adult Intermediate Ballet
This full season program is perfect for adults (ages 18+) who have 5 or more years of ballet training.
Dancers at this level are expected to demonstrate proper turnout, technique, posture, and alignment in everything they do. In addition, dancers should know ballet terminology, have a strong ability to balance, and understand spotting, breathing and muscle control.
Age: 18+

Adult Pointe
This is a Full Season Program perfect for adults (ages 18+) who have 5+ years of experience training in ballet (soft shoes).
Students who are new to pointe will do this class in soft shoes until the teacher determines that they have the strength for pointe. Students who are already experienced in pointe will complete barre and centre exercises on pointe.
Note: Students must be registered in the Intermediate Ballet Program to participate in this Pointe class.
Age: 18+

Adult Tap
This full season program is perfect for adults (ages 18+) with tap experience. It offers great camaraderie, and is an excellent mental and physical workout!
Dancers should have a strong understanding of double and triple sounds, and should be able to combine steps, understand verbal instructions, and apply shading. Some skills that dancers should be able to execute are riff walks, time-steps, paradiddles, maxi ford, time-steps, and buffalos.
